Few months ago, HMD Global announced the most awaited phone, the iconic Nokia 3310 at MWC 2017, launched way back in the year 2000.
Now, after 17 years it was relaunched with a few new interesting tweaks. However, the original one was released way back in the year 2000, and it was the most successful feature phone from the Finnish company Nokia.
As we all know that the original version of Nokia 3310 which was launched as at 2000 doesn’t have a camera, but, guess what’s the most interesting? The newer one which was launched recently has an in-built 2-megapixel camera with LED flash.
Apart from all these things, Nokia on Tuesday announced an Instagram promotional campaign to let users design their own limited edition Nokia 3310 packaging. Sounds awesome right as it should be.
Now many of you might be wondering that how to enter this contest? Don’t worry about that as I will assist you with this, to enter this contest simply upload an ‘original’ design to Instagram with the hashtag “#3310art” and then simply follow “@Nokiamobile” on the social media platform and you are done.
According to the company, all the entries will be judged by Nokia itself along with the UK-based design studio known as “I Love Dust”, on “originality, creativity, and positivity”.
Moreover, the chief marketing officer of HMD Global, Pekka Rantala, said in a statement at the time of announcing the launch of the campaign that “We’re grateful for the incredible support we receive every day from Nokia mobile fans and wanted to do something special to thank them. The design is extremely close to our hearts and something Nokia fans love. We’re excited to see the design talent come through from the fans and hope the opportunity to be the sole designer and owner of a one of a kind Nokia 3310 will add to the excitement for Nokia mobile fans too”.
This new competition will open globally and run until May 10, 2017.
