Your Tecno H6 device must be rooted and TWRP recovery installed. Go Here to root your device if not rooted and here to download and install TWRP recovery. If you’ve already done both, proceed to step to install CyanogenMod 12.1 v3 custom rom to your H6.
Make nandroid backup of your stock rom incase you need it in future.
- Power off your device completely or remove and insert battery. Press & hold at same time: Power Button + Volume Up Button to boot to TWRP Recovery mod.
- Now Follow bellow steps to install Cyanogen 12.1 v3 to your H6:
- In TWRP recovery mod, choose Wipe >> Advanced wipe
- Now tick delvich, cache, system & data and Swipe to wipe using the swipe to wipe indicator
- After that, go back and click reboot, choose recovery to reboot to recovery mod again.
- Now, select Install and navigate to your downloaded rom and proceed to install from there.
- After Installation is complete, flash Gapp (Important) but don’t wipe anything, just install the same way you installed your custom rom.
Reboot your device and wait few mins. to boot to screen…. That’s it, you have successfully installed Cyanogenmod 12.1 v3 Custom Rom To Your H6 device.. Enjoy
TO GAIN ROOT ACCESS:
Download SuperUser flashable zip file from here, boot to recovery and select “Install”. Navigate to where you placed SuperUser and proceed to install. After installation, reboot your device.
Done, your H6 running CyanogenMod 12.1 v3 has bern successfully rooted. You can download and install Root Checker app from playstore to verify root status
